Cover Kid Q&A – Gwynne, 7, and Maeve, 5

Gwynne, 7, and Maeve, 5

How do you like to spend your time?

Gwynne: There’s so much to do, best is skiing and swimming with my family.

Maeve: I like to get ice cream for fun times!

What do you think will be different about the world when you are an adult?

Gwynne: Cars flying in the sky, definitely that will happen.

Maeve: That babies will be happy in their lifetime.

Who are your best friends and why do you like each other?

Gwynne: My best friend is Maya, and I like her because we do fashion shows together at her house.

Maeve: Rita and Lia are best friends because they are kind and I’ve known them since preschool.

What do you think your parents do at work all day?

Gwynne: Sell houses. You have the person with you, you show them the house and if they like it, they can buy it. You also do meetings about houses.

Maeve: Sell houses because people want to buy a house and they give you their money.

What’s the most important rule that you know of?

Gwynne: Don’t litter. We don’t want the earth to be sad or hurt. When you litter, it kind of makes a scratch on the earth.

Maeve: At my school the rules are: no jumping off the bee-hive, no going like a choo-choo train with friends down the slide, and no using the red toys, because they are from the other classroom.
